Layali Libnan

Layali Libnan
 
 
 Ingredients:
  1. Semolina pudding
  2. 8 cups of milk (1 cup is 235 ml)
  3. 1 cup semolina ½
  4. 1 teaspoon granulated masks
  5. 8 tablespoons of sugar
  6. 3 tablespoons rose water
  7. 3 tablespoons orange flower water
  8. cream
  9. 2 cups sour cream
  10. 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  11. 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  12. Sugar syrup
  13. 1 cup brown sugar (or granulated sugar)
  14. 3/4 cup water
  15. 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  16. 1 tablespoon orange blossom water
  17. for decorating
  18. 1 cup crushed pistachios
  19. 1 cup crushed walnuts,1 cup crushed almonds;green mint leaves
Method Lebanese-Nights recipe "Layali libnan":

Semolina pudding
 In a bowl mix well semolina, sugar and milk, place on the stove over medium heat stirring constantly to avoid lumps form.
 When it starts to boil, reduce heat to minimum and add ground mastic powder.
 Stir constantly until thickened and boiling it (about 5 minutes).
 Remove from heat and add rose water and orange blossom water, mix well to equalize and pour into a bowl of iena termorezitent, leaving room for cream layer.
 Allow to cool about half an hour.




Cream
 In a bowl, you put in a bowl of ice cream mix is at lowest speed of mixer until it becomes foamy, add the sugar and vanilla sugar.
 Pour over completely cooled semolina pudding.
 Sprinkle with pistachios, walnuts and almonds after gust.Se Garnish with fresh mint leaves and candied cherries.
 So cold at least 5
hours.

 
Sugar syrup

In a stainless steel bowl mix water and sugar, place on stove over medium heat and when it begins to boil add the lemon juice.
 Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes until thick.
 Add the orange flower water and leave to cool completely, then place in the refrigerator.
 The syrup will keep in the refrigerator up to 1 month.
 Cake can be refrigerated up to 5 days.
 The portion dough into cake and pour sugar syrup depending on your preference.
